"Phoenix Park August Afternoon", 22"x15" watercolor.This is an impression of the Sacramento valley vernal pools in the summer. On September 21, 2013 a juried art show Vernal Pool Visions will open at the Splash Education Center featuring 2-dimensional artwork celebrating the vernal pools of the Sacramento Valley. The show will be judged by esteemed painter, teacher and author Patricia Abraham, T.W.S.A. and will run through October 15. This work has been accepted to this exhibit.
