David Peterson paints watercolors from life about life. He depicts nature, places and our neighborhoods. He has won dozens of awards, and is widely collected. David has been chosen to be a judge for the 2016 Student Showcase Competition at the California State Fair.

The artist will be demonstrated watercolor painting at the California Fine Arts Exhibit at the State Fair July 8-10, 2016

Meet the artist at Tango's Frozen Yogurt, 940 Lincoln Way, Auburn CA, Friday June 3, 2016, 6-9 pm. He will be part of the Auburn Artwalk. "The Beach", 22x30" watercolor is on display along with 16 other watercolors in June and July at this venue.

Sacramento artists Debra Williams and David Peterson use watercolor to capture local outdoor scenes, each providing wonderfully different outcomes.

 

David Peterson was the featured "Artist of the Month" at at the Elsie May Goodwin Gallery, Home of Stockton Art League, 1902 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95204, (209) 466-6604. The opening reception will be April 9, 4-7 pm. Shown is "Empire Theatre", 22x15" watercolor. Shown at the Elsie May Goodwin Gallery. Accepted California State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit.

I will be at the 92nd Annual Camellia Show at the Memorial Auditorium, Sunday March 6, 2016 10 am-4 pm. 8 or 9 artists will painting the blossoms at the show for our 5th "Paint In". Come and watch is paint the thousands of camellias displayed at this year's Camellia Show.
